Court Decisions
The replacement CAVC, Federal Circuit, and BVA research centers are being built from the updated court corpus. Until they are ready, the current case-law research page and its existing search tools remain available through the legacy view below.

Each replacement center will open only after source identity, decision metadata, court classification, and quality controls are complete.

The replacement CAVC center will preserve decision identity, date, citation, precedential status, and the official source.

The replacement Federal Circuit center will connect reviewed appellate decisions to veterans-law subjects and related authorities.

The replacement BVA center will identify the nonprecedential, case-specific nature of Board decisions and support evidence-oriented research.
Legacy case-law research
The existing Case Law resource remains the public route for the previously imported case summaries. Its legal-topic landing page, search field, filters, and result pages will remain unchanged while the replacement court centers are built.

Open the same topic-based Case Law page currently used on Navigating VA. Select a legal topic to reach the existing search and filter interface.
Continuity commitment: The legacy Case Law page, topic pages, search controls, filters, and case-summary pages will not be redesigned or removed during development of the replacement court centers. Any later cutover will require separate review and approval.
